The upcoming DVD in ‘Little Mermaid Sing and Dance Along’ needs a talented actress to play the lead role as Ariel.
According to the casting director, Joe Wright, of this DVD, he is looking the best talented actress to star Ariel character for the adaptation of The Little Mermaid live action film , and as a part of the requirements are that she needs to excel at acting, singing and dance.
Disney has always considered the character of Ariel as one of the most representative ones in its fantasy world, with her red hair and purple sea shells nobody can miss identify her, and well, that description is not complete until we see her blue-green tail. That’s why it’s been considered one of the top favorite characters for children and girls. Even in Internet polls, little mermaid is at the top of the listing. - Regarding body details, they are looking an actress with a beautiful skin and light complexion, her height should be above 5′ 5”
- In terms of skills for this role, it’s a must to have strong acting skills and be able to manage long dialogs, a great voice is required for singing. Finally, dance with choreography and ballet strong training is required.
Ariel’s looks are sweet and candid, giving her the innocence and cuteness of a child. The actress will have to align to this personality with gracious smile and be very elegant.
