From the same directors of Gossip Girls , we have this upcoming movie that is about a girl being in the wrong side of the school, she is dealing with a hearbreak, having bad friends and failing exams, while her mom is living a single life after her divorce.

It’s important to notice that this is a remake from a French comedy back in 2008, and it looks promising, why? Well besides , having Miley Cyrus as the main character of the movie, we also have the beautiful Demi Moore playing as the mom. We know that great movies take time to be filmed, also they take an important amount of time to cast the right people, and that’s why great movies make a lot of money. I think everybody had the same feeling when we were sat down in the movie theater reading the credits at the end of  the   Dark Knight’s film.

Everybody knew that this was a great moment to be, it was the last great performance of Heath Ledger, an actor so brilliant that any of us that have auditioned before would take him as an inspiration, he was so deeply involved in the Joker’s character that you could buy that he was the Joker from the comics, it was a superlative performance and now he’s gone to a better place. Yeah I think it also was a sad moment when we knew that we wouldn’t be able to see him acting in another movie in full.

As you may now, the Spiderman franchise has been one of the biggest blockbuster hits in the latest years,  and it’s no surprise that there is another one approaching in the next years.

At the beginning, it was stated that the release of the film was scheduled to 2011, but after Sam Raimi withdrew from the project. Sony has announced that the franchise is going to be rebooted and It will be released in 2012. The focus of the new film will be based in the early years of Peter Parker,  when he’s in the high school and how he developed his skills.

In my opinion, it looks like this movie is the consequence of the new acquisition of Marvel from  Disney, and they probably are focusing on a younger audience, which , in some ways I don’t like too much, if you have read Spiderman comics, there is one series of comics called Spiderman ultimates where you can see how Peter Parker lives when he was young.

However there is a bright side on this new film, since Marc Webb is the new Director of the film, they will be requiring younger people, so it opens new great opportunities for younger actors that want to enter in the Hollywood industry. So stay tuned because as soon as the auditions are released for supporting roles , I will be publishing the contact information.

Disney is right now in the pre-production of the film, and is looking for the lead characters of the movie, however one of the great things that they said was that they are looking for unknown actors, that means that they are open to new candidates, this probably is going to take some time, but I think is a good way to get unknown talents in the market. And with Disney marketing strategies , the actor that gets this role will be exposed ten times to the whole film industry and will be passed to the side of celebrities.

Finally, I think there is enough time to publish a Spiderman 4 lead character’s audition and I’m pretty sure if you’re in the right time and place you could be one of the candidates.

After the last film project from Miley cyrus, it looks like the next big hit for my Miley   is called Wings from Walt Disney Pictures. The media has reported that Walt Disney has acquired the screen right from the novel called with the same title that was written by Aprilynne Pike and became a bestseller.  Our sources indicates that executives at Walt Disney will use this great novel to boost Miley cyrus career as a serious young actress.

It’s good to see that Miley is getting more mature and adding more work on her resume, even in this movie where the plot is about a 15 years old girl  that comes from a small town and has to adapt to a big high school, but soon enough she will feel that she doesn’t fit in the school, finally, after that she will  sprout  a pair of wings and will realize that she’s a fairy  . It’s been known that  there are plans for this novel to become a franchise, because it’s expected to be 4 novels in the next years to come. Her mother, Tish will also work as the executive producer.

Obviously the main role will be Laurel played by Myley Cyrus, however there are open roles for auditions for everyone that is interested. Remember that Last Song is now a project in the past.

The main actor role is not known yet, and also extras will be available. Walt Disney is investing a lot  in this partnership that has with Miley Cyrus, because now we see that the plans where she is involved are beyond than hanna montana show that has one season left. I think this is a way to prepare her favorite  young star to serious projects ahead, good luck Miley and to you folks good luck in filling one spot on Wings Auditions. The primary  film location is going to be in Los Angeles, California, still we don’t if there are other locations where the movie is going to be filmed too. What we know is that the advertise activity has started to let young actors know about this project.

The only thing I suggest, is that now that Disney has teamed up with Temple Hill Entertainment, don’t send your resume to these two companies because that’s why they hire other casting directors which are the ones that will go through the resumes you send and select the ones they like it. The auditions for new moon, which is the next film inside the Twilight saga has been completed.  They started doing the main  photography part in April 09, and by the end of June of this year, the film has almost been finished. Everyone is expecting the release of the film for November 2009. I think that this indicates that they’re really eager to monetize this movie franchise through this great saga that has a lot of fans and that is continually growing.

New Moon Audition from Twilight Saga  has been an ongoing project since January 2009, by know it’s public knowledge that among the new cast members we found the Volturi clan, these are the venerable vampires who make sure that vampire’s laws are imposed. The members that Summit Entertainment announced a while back are  Charlie Bewley acting as Demetri, Daniel Cudmore starring as Felix, Marcus character will be played by Christopher Heyerdahl and the rest of the clan.  Jane’s character is performed by Dakota Fanning which is a high ranked member of the Volturi clan, also  Cameron Bright is Jane’s brother in the movie. The renown Michael Sheene will play as the leader of the clan, his name will be Aro.

You could wonder what happens in a new moon audition, so this is a brief description of one of the auditions that took part in US, So this is what normally happens in an regular audition. In January, there was the Phoenix casting call for New Moon. Near 100 people went to the audition at the Phoenix Indian Center, the people were called by age, I can say that the place was quieter than you would expect, considering that the lobby have around 100 people inside. You could only hear whisperings and there weren’t people that looked to be studying for last time their lines, instead some of the people where talking with the person next to them which looked like to be their friends.

One of the good news is that some cast members are returning from the first film, we have Ashley Green as Alice , Elizabeth Reaser starring as Esme and lot of great actors.

Finally, the plot that is taking part in the movie, is based on the emotional state that Bella is, since her love, the vampire Edward had to leave her. At the same time, she starts building a growing relationship with Jacob Black. Then, suddenly she will be facing a new threat which is the ancient world of the werewolves, which have been blood’s enemies. This is the main arch of the movie, and the loyalty of which party, bella is going to support will be tested.

The movie promises to deliver the same degree of action and suspense, with a mix of romantic moments. However, many  beginner actors thought that they could have twice the chance to be called for an audition, because it was rumoured that the this upcoming movie was going to be filmed back to back with the third part which is Eclipse, this was mainly to save some money. However, It’s been announced recently that there’s not going to be a back to back movie. So I think they director board will wait until see the box office, because the third movie is schedule to start filming  two months after New Moon Film.

Harry Potter 7 Auditions, after a long journal we finally are getting to the end of a great saga, Harry Potter 7 promises to deliver one of the best ends of the latest franchise movies. And the best of all is that you can be part of it , well if you live or have lived in London. You’ll see, this has been one of the main conditions for all J K Rowlng’s movies. Anyway that could change with the next harry potter deathly hallows contest only for canadian people, yes they are really lucky.

Well , the final movie will be split on two movies and the releases date are rumored to be first in November 19, 2010, and the second release date is July 15, 2011.

As for latest news, David O’Hara has been cast as Albert Runcorn, this is one of the characters that in the seventh book, Harry Potter will impersonate by drinking a polyjuice potion to get into the ministry.

As for the locations where the film will take place, one of the first to be known is a  Shell Cottage set in Pembrokeshire.

There are two characters that have already been cast the first one is for the character Charity Babbage, the Muggle Studies professor, in which actress Carolyn Pickles has been cast. The second is for the character Kreacher, the house-elf that Harry inherits from Sirius Black. This part (assuming just the voice) will be portrayed by actor Simon McBurney.
