High School Musical 4, has already started and will be in pre-poduction the whole 2009, though at first it was planned to be played in theaters, latest decisions from Disney concluded that the movie will be in the disney channel.
The plot revolves around a classic Romeo and Juliet story but with a twist. The previous performers stated that the third film would be the last for them, but as we know this following movie will be based on a love triangle between the people from East High Wildcats and the West High Knights.

The production of the movie will start later this year, and with a release date in 2010. The good news is that the Peter Barsocchini will write the plot for the fourth time. Bill Borden and Barry Rosembush will be the executive producers. There is a lot of enthusiasm with this movie, the president of Disney Channel World has stated that this time they’re competing with theirselves and they will try to beat the last movie which was a blockbuster hit , the revenue of the movie was around 250 million dollars, so this time the plans are big and the challenge is higher too, that’s why the whole team feel that the bar will be risen up to meet the expectations from the public. They are planning to create a great environment for the movie.

Finally, the major roles and supporting characters are going to be cast, that includes dancers and extras this year. Stay tuned for the news.
