When we talk about comics adapted to films, there is one that always comes to my mind, not exactly because it’s a candidate for an Oscar prize, but because of the nice surprise I had when I went to the theater to see it. Because this movie is the main reason that Marvel Studios was reassured as a big studio filmmaker.
After so many years of seeing poorly Hollywood adaptations from comics, it’s the first time that this big comic company will do what they want with their characters, it’s been a long way to get here, but now the freedom is real. The consequences are huge, because we have a lot of comic films ahead coming from the mother of comics, that also means Auditions for extras and who knows if a major role opportunities lie in the future.
That is why this film is remembered by me as the Pandora’s box because it opened so many possibilities for our beloved superheroes. And I must say after the movie there has been a lot of buzz about the sequel. Iron man 2 started filming this year, and there have been many questions and request of how to get an audition as an extra, well we know that major roles are being performed by heavy weight actors. So for now we could search for an opportunity in the extra business. As most of the big films like these, auditions for extras aren’t being handle directly by the studio, instead they use a third party company which takes the responsibility to cast the people required for these type of roles.
After the Ironman 2 4 minutes trailer shown at the Comic Con in San Diego, several folks had made their approval of the film and it promises to delive a major hit next year.
