From the same directors of Gossip Girls , we have this upcoming movie that is about a girl being in the wrong side of the school, she is dealing with a hearbreak, having bad friends and failing exams, while her mom is living a single life after her divorce.
It’s important to notice that this is a remake from a French comedy back in 2008, and it looks promising, why? Well besides , having Miley Cyrus as the main character of the movie, we also have the beautiful Demi Moore playing as the mom. We know that Miley has two projects in the short term, the other one I posted some time ago is called Wings
Now the great news is that they are offering an opportunity to submit your resume in order to fill in the lead roles that this great movie have. Now, it’s not mandatory to have a big experience in acting, they just want fresh people with talent, and I think this could your great opportunity you’ve looking for.
We have the following requirements with the following characters:
Chad , Kyle, Janice and Emily all this characters require that applicants should be older than 18 and they will be playing 16-17 year old students. The male guys are going to be rock and rock players, while Chad is the bad ass rock star, Kyle is a realistic guy. The female characters are described with Janice as dry girl, that always choose to speak directly to the point and finally, Emily is the type of girl that takes too much time to think in what to do next.
You have to submit your photo and resume. The information is going to be sent only by mail for the principal actor casting which is David Rapaport and the address is c/o Mandate Pictures 2700 Colorado Boulevard , Suite 501, Santa Monica, California, 90404. So prepare yourself, the casting will start in July 2010 and the extra roles are going to be updated in the following weeks, and it will take place in Detroit.
