Frenemies is a movie about friendship, directed by Daisy Mayer, it emphasizes the importance of who you should trust, not trust and forgive . The story is about twin sisters separated when their mom gave birth to them, one girl, Savannah lives in a family with four brothers and her sister, Devin lives with a well accommodated family, she’s used to live in luxury. Both of them made a decision to switch lives for about one week and be in the shoes of the other. The plot is split in three stories that intersect at some point in the TV movie.

The movie follows Duncan’s family that set off from Palm Springs for Christmas, while in the journey, Teddy Duncan portrayed by the beautiful Bridgit Mendler makes a decision that will split the family, from that moment Teddy will have three days and with no more available flights to gather the family together again, she will travel in a caravan, in a car, in a bus and even in a bike in order to achieve the goal of spending Christmas as a family.
Both partners in this movie, Salty Pictures and Disney Channel have been together in order to product this movie, auditions for co-stars will take place in Los Angeles as well as supporting roles. Extra roles will be happening in Salt Lake city, where most of the action will take place. Salty Picture directed by Don Schain have had a lot of experience in a joint venture with Disney company, they have produced several movies including the High School Musical franchise. The concept of this film is around the what is essential in a family for Disney, they put emphasis in the people that form this family, however, they tell the story from the point of view of a the teenager, Teddy Duncan.
As part of the production team, we’re seeing Matias Alvarez in his second job after Lemonade Mouth in 2010. Arlene Sanford will be leading the project with the main script writer Geoff Rodkey, both being nominated at the Primetime Emmy Award. We remember that Arlene has experience from previous productions like Desperate Housewives and Grey’s Anatomy to name a few.
The main audition is for Amy Duncan’s parents, the casting will take place in Los Angeles. There is also an opportunity for an actor with strong skills in comedy, the range of the age is between 30 to 40. The Avengers has set its new location in New Mexico to keep filming, however, one of the characters won’t be able to be played by Demi Lovato, we knew she was in rehab, so now the Casting directors have started a search for local young talented actresses, so if you live near New Mexico, you can have the opportunity of your life.
The production of this movie is coming from the Owners of Marvel Studios, Walt Disney and they’re setting all the preparations before they start the shooting in April 2011. Joss Whedon has been selected to direct this big movie, we’ll have a lot of renown people that have been playing as different super-heroes along these years. The fill will be shot for 3-D Theaters and the script, previously written by Zack Penn is having some changes that are coming directly from Joss, we don’t doubt that the quality of the film will be superlative. It’s the first attempt from one of the two major Companies in the comic industry to gather so many heroes in just one film.
The millionaire film is going to be almost entirely filmed in New Mexico, according to the executives from Marvel Studios, the total investment will be around 200 million dollars, we’re seeing that this movie is looking to beat Avatar’s latest income records in theaters, we don’t have any doubt that they will achieve and surpass Avatar’s film, the accumulated amount of films, have been building this kind of expectation. Part of the decision for Marvel Studios to choose New Mexico as the main shooting place is because they offer some incentives to major film and TV Series, like rebating 25%, though, other states have even better offers such as Michigan.
But the decision is not entirely based on the rebate program but also because New Mexico is near Los Angeles, there are different landscapes and some scenes from Thor happened here, so in order to accommodate the change of location, the production of this movie will start in April 2011.
The rumors about Demi Lovato are almost gone, since the main casting team has been chosen, the only remaining casting spots are for extras and roles for short amount of days, if you live in Albuquerque , then you have great chances to pursue this opportunity.Other minor locations are New York and Michigan. The release date for the film The Avengers has been scheduled for May 4, 2012, thousands of marvel fans are waiting for this day.

Disney Channel is working hard to make a new title Madison High, auditions are coming pretty fast, from this High School Musical spin off. They are dedicating a lot of resources for this title, it’s an addition to the popular franchise of High School Musical, so the stakes are high for this Tv Show.
The story of this show starts with Ms. Darbus, who was playing the role of the drama teacher on High School Musical, she’s moved, and her new job in a new school is to cast a new group of young talents, including potential and already great actors to make a musical production, the concept of this musical will be their lives and experiences.
By now , we have Luke Benward, G. Hannelius and new comer Leah Lewis, the latter one with no experience in TV or films for this role, as part of the initial stars’ casting. A national talent search has begun and Disney is looking for promising actors that will help to expand the franchise, which has been very popular in the last years among young audience. The skills they are looking are multi-talented artists, this includes, being a great singer, actor and dancer. For these roles, the requirements normally are that you have had trained on these three areas, and have a outstanding performance altogether backed up by years of training.
Regarding the previous main casting crew, we can say that Luke Benward has some experience, the important ones includes when he started with Family Affair in 2002, and in 2008, he participated in Disney Channel, The Minutemen, so we know he knows the ins and outs of this new project.
On the other hand, G. Hannelius, has had experience in films like Black and Blue and The Search for Santa Paws. he also knows the type of work involved in this spin off as he has worked in shows like Hanna Montana and Sonny with a Chance, as part of his main role, he co-hosted the Show Leo Little’s Big Show.
Paul Hoen will be in charge of directing the TV series, he already has experience with Disney Channel Productions, and he’s worked in directing movies and series like The Luck of the Irish, You Wish, Read It and Weep, Jump In! and Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam. So we’re assured by the quality of the director without a doubt.
On the other hand, we have casting directors that have started auditions for the role of Jack Hall, which is the father of Peyton, the description of the role includes that the actor should be preferrable Asian and it would be a plus if he can play Tennis. Other casting roles being pursued are a couple of guys in their mid-teens that practice motocross and a football player.

Walt Disney Pictures has announced the new film called Oz: The Great and Powerful, James Franco, the last host of the Oscars 2011, will be playing the role of the Wizard, this fantasy film has started to grab major interest with James Franco, then, we’ve been informed that Mila Kunis will lead the female role as Evanorah, known as the Witch of the East.  Following the popular franchise of X – Men, Fox and Marvel Studios have teamed up again to bring up a new story to the big screen. This film is placed in the timeline before all the X-Men films, that means that this is a young generation. All the events that will develop are going to be based loosely on comics, however the main characters will be the center of the story.
Professor X and Magneto at this time are very close friends, after the X-Men Auditions for the lead Role for Charles Xavier’s character,James McAvoy will be the actor to perform this characterization, he has been nominated as the best actor for the Golden Globe Awards in 2008, so he’s going to portray the life of Charles Xavier before gathering his students to form the X-Men, we also are going to see the relationship with Erik Lensherr as Magneto.

 From the same directors of Gossip Girls , we have this upcoming movie that is about a girl being in the wrong side of the school, she is dealing with a hearbreak, having bad friends and failing exams, while her mom is living a single life after her divorce.

After the last film project from Miley cyrus, it looks like the next big hit for my Miley is called Wings from Walt Disney Pictures. The media has reported that Walt Disney has acquired the screen right from the novel called with the same title that was written by Aprilynne Pike and became a bestseller. Our sources indicates that executives at Walt Disney will use this great novel to boost Miley cyrus career as a serious young actress.
It’s good to see that Miley is getting more mature and adding more work on her resume, even in this movie where the plot is about a 15 years old girl that comes from a small town and has to adapt to a big high school, but soon enough she will feel that she doesn’t fit in the school, finally, after that she will sprout a pair of wings and will realize that she’s a fairy . It’s been known that there are plans for this novel to become a franchise, because it’s expected to be 4 novels in the next years to come. Her mother, Tish will also work as the executive producer.
Obviously the main role will be Laurel played by Myley Cyrus, however there are open roles for auditions for everyone that is interested. Remember that Last Song is now a project in the past.

You can find here the latest upcoming auditions for disney channel scheduled by Disney Corporation. It’s recommended to be fifteen to thirty minutes later so you can arrive without any problems, and you’ll have the time to familiarize with the place where your audition will take place.
Remember how hard you have worked, so be confident on your audition. I will suggest to be nice with the casting director and don’t start filling him with a lot of questions, because that’s not professional. If he likes you, he will probably keep you in his mind and probably call you later.

On thursday, June 18th from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. There is an audition for Disney character performers in Orlando, Florida. Then , on friday, June 19th from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. there is an upcoming disney audition for holiday dancers, for both genres, the contract can go from this october to the next january.The place is the same that one mentioned above.
Then next week , on Monday June 22nd, from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. there is an audition for holiday dancers that looks for women and men to perform for a holiday production at kingdom park, however this audition takes place in Chelsea Studios 151 W. 26th Street – 5th floor, New York, NY 10001.
If you have some experience in acting or know the basics for dancing your skills will help you for these auditions, so don’t waste more time , prepare yourself for these upcoming auditions, I will keep you posted with new disney auditions in the next days.
