Following the popular franchise of X – Men, Fox and Marvel Studios have teamed up again to bring up a new story to the big screen. This film is placed in the timeline before all the X-Men films,  that means that this is a young  generation. Disney Marvel Studio Captain America Auditions

As the calendar goes to 2011, a couple of movies are coming and everything is prepared to 2012, I’m not talking about the Mayan Prophecies, but the Marvel’s one. And this is because we’re going to see Captain America’s first avenger movie which after so many years we hope that this film will fill the shoes that the 90s movie left.

The negotiations started in 1997, but it took the bold move that Marvel did some years ago to start promoting their heroes as franchise, everything has been orchestrated like a Beethoven’s  symphony and I think the rewards are coming with every blockbuster hit that marvel is producing.

Now, with the help of Disney as the new owner of marvel we will see a great expansion of these franchises in audience terms , it’s left to see if the transition from comics to a movie is well executed by the director, Joe Johnston.

Talking about the casting that has been selecting until now, we are glad to see that actor Stanley Tucci will be playing the role of Dr. Abraham Erskine. This was said by an official announcement at marvel and is accompanying Chris Evans as Captain America. We also have Hugo Weaving to play Red Skull.

All main characters has been chosen, but there is a lot of opportunities in this film as we are aware that some parts of the movie will take place in London and  Captain America Auditions  for Extras will consider all UK actors, be prepared to send your resume to Guys and Dolls casting , which is located in Trafalgar House, Grenwille place, London.

The main requisites to have in consideration for this first avenger film audition is to have UK nationality and also a national insurance number. In case you plan to assist to the captain’s america auditions you can send your resume with photos over email, remember that the images in total shouldn’t weight more than 2 Mb, the email to use is russell@guysanddollcastings.com, remember to sent it before June 28 which is the date where the film will start rolling in USA first, it’s said that the stage used will be located at Manhattan Beach , California.

The plot about this movie is based on the origins of captain america, a bit similar than Wolverine, but with the exception that he’s not a mutant, and due to the rejection for serving as a militar, Steve Rogers managed to enter into the military institution by volunteering in a top secret project, an event that will change his life forever and probably all around him. This film is been long awaited and I’m pretty confident that if you make it as an extra, you will have a great opportunity to other auditions, good luck in this Disney’s marvel Studios auditions.

As part of the marketing campaign that is being managed by Marvel and Disney, we have seen the new logo that has hit the internet and make a big buzz, it looks great and we have to put our reminders on for this great film.

Disney Marvel Thor Auditions

Disney Marvel Thor Auditions

Everyone knows about the last acquisition of Disney, the beloved Marvel, there was a lot of polemic about this issue in its time. However, now the things look brighter with the upcoming movie “Thor”, the mighty Asgardian God will definitely blind us with the lightning that his powerful hammer produces.

And  by now the sequence keeps going and heat is being felt by the zealots of Marvel, everyone would dream about taking part of this movie as an actor, an actress or heck even as a cleaning guy, this film has been waited for so much time that deserves the best breed of main characters and also great secondary roles, everyone have been seen this new concepts about the Thor sutis and it looks splendid.

I think everyone is pretty much set on the main characters’ casting , we know that the film is going to be shoot at Raleigh Manhattan Beach Studios, and then it will be moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico to .

There will be an open casting call for Extras in New Mexico so if you happen to live near and you are over 18, give it a shot.

As you may now, the Spiderman franchise has been one of the biggest blockbuster hits in the latest years,  and it’s no surprise that there is another one approaching in the next years.

At the beginning, it was stated that the release of the film was scheduled to 2011, but after Sam Raimi withdrew from the project. Sony has announced that the franchise is going to be rebooted and It will be released in 2012. The focus of the new film will be based in the early years of Peter Parker,  when he’s in the high school and how he developed his skills.

In my opinion, it looks like this movie is the consequence of the new acquisition of Marvel from  Disney, and they probably are focusing on a younger audience, which , in some ways I don’t like too much, if you have read Spiderman comics, there is one series of comics called Spiderman ultimates where you can see how Peter Parker lives when he was young.

However there is a bright side on this new film, since Marc Webb is the new Director of the film, they will be requiring younger people, so it opens new great opportunities for younger actors that want to enter in the Hollywood industry. So stay tuned because as soon as the auditions are released for supporting roles , I will be publishing the contact information.

Disney is right now in the pre-production of the film, and is looking for the lead characters of the movie, however one of the great things that they said was that they are looking for unknown actors, that means that they are open to new candidates, this probably is going to take some time, but I think is a good way to get unknown talents in the market. And with Disney marketing strategies , the actor that gets this role will be exposed ten times to the whole film industry and will be passed to the side of celebrities.

Well , I hope you enjoy this article, I’ll be in contact with the press releases that Disney announce and I will be posting back here the Spiderman 4 auditions , there have been some rumors of actors being casted for the lead characters of this film, however, most of them have denied those news, so we can assume that Disney is signing a contract with the auditions to not disclose any information about the new casting auditions to the pre-selected candidates or it’s just media buzz that are trying to be one step ahead of other communication channels and trying to get noticed to the people who is looking for this kind of news.

Finally, I think there is enough time to publish a Spiderman 4 lead character’s audition and I’m pretty sure if you’re in the right time and place you could be one of the candidates.

When we talk about comics adapted to films, there is one that always comes to my mind, not exactly because it’s a candidate for an Oscar prize, but because of the nice surprise I had when I went to the theater to see it. Because this movie is the main reason that Marvel Studios was reassured as a big studio filmmaker. Read more »
